Formed in 2003 in the Little Rock area, CACA has initiated the effort to establish and promote cricket at a competitive yet friendly level. All the players in the team are enthusiastic cricketers who have experience in playing cricket, both at amateur and college/state level. The efforts of past and present members of this club has paid off in terms of promoting this sport and has now led to the creation of an official club in the Central Arkansas region (CACA). This also led CACA to participate in a very competitive TRISTATE CRICKET LEAGUE in 2003 with teams from Oklahoma and Kansas. During 2003 and 2004 season CACA had a great success measured by any standard. This was confirmed by CACA making it into semi finals and quarter finals stage in 2003 and 2004 respectively. |

During the course of these seasons, we have developed a great network and friendships with other competitive teams from Oklahoma, Kansas and of course, our local friends from Little Rock and Jonesboro area. Our mission is to have FUN and knock the leather off the cricket ball. Our goal is to establish cricket as a legitimate spring-summer sport here in the central Arkansas region. We are also working hard in generating awareness amongst the non-cricket playing community. Interest has certainly increased in these past seasons with many new faces joining the team. This was also evident when some local newspapers and a TV channel decided to cover our activity in 2004.
We hope to gather more support from the community and encourage people to come and watch us play our home games in 2006 season
